Timing for insurance ID cards
Electronic files are sent to the insurance companies every Wednesday as an automated process. After your benefits are submitted in Workday, you provide any required documentation. Once your benefits are approved by the Benefits Department, your enrollments will be sent on the Wednesday files which occur on or after your effective date of coverage. It takes the insurance companies up to 48 hours to process the files. On Friday of that week, you can access your digital ID cards.
